MHS Fall Sports Honors

Mechanicville Red Raider senior OL Dan Robens and and Bobby Morris of the Stillwater Warriors for being selected to the Section 2 Football All-Star Team. They represented our schools and communities well, anchoring the right side of the line for 2 of the North’s 4 scores in a 27-20 victory over the South All-Stars.

While high school winter sports are in full swing, we look back on the fall seasons at MHS for athletic honors.

On the gridiron, RB Chase Delossantos and OL Dan Robens were named First Team Offense while DE Brennan Fleming and DB Donovan Mysliwiec were named First Team Defense in the Class C North Division. Robens, a senior, was also honored by being selected to the Senior Bowl North Team. Second team honorees include Flemming as an offensive linemen, WR Noah Harpe, and DL Dan Hayner. Midfielder Sarah Erno, F Keara LaFountain, and G Kim Thompson were named First Team All-Colonial Council in girls soccer. Thomson was also named to the Section II Class B All-Star Team. M Kali DeMarco and F Madison Gowett made Second Team All-Colonial while M Mackenzie Bowie and D Sarah Meisel made Third Team. On the volleyball court, Alydia Zecca and Taylor Hines were honored as First Team Colonial Council Patriot Division All-Stars while Paige Phelan made the Second Team. Read more below from the Gloversville Leader-Herald.

Vanessa Mickalonis was selected to the Colonial Council Cross Country All-Star Third Team, thanks in part to her 21st place performance at the Colonial Council Championships.
