Why Did the Rooster Cross the Road?

The Ugly Rooster Cafe will soon no longer be at it’s spot at 159 N. Main Street. Don’t worry, they are not closing, far from it. They are moving to a brand new location in town. One that will be suit the needs for owner and customers alike.

The cafe’s move, which owner Ariel Pagan states will begin in mid-November, will take the establishment from its current location on Main St. to it’s brand new home at 312 N. Third Avenue, the former location of Miranda & Fountaine Floor Covering Company.

The new location will benefit the Rooster in a number of ways, most notably that it will provide more space. The extra space will add parking spaces, extra waiting room, and expansive room for more tables and seating for customers. Aside from the extra space, the Ugly Rooster will also house a brand new addition to the restaurant- banquet room.

In the meantime, Pagan says that the current location will absolutely remain open as the move and construction starts on the future home of the Ugly Rooster.
